Evie Totty: “It ruled.”

From my Tumblr entry:

Well I must say, the movie itself was outstanding. It is now my favorite QT movie behind Reservoir Dogs. I would say True Romance but... he didn't do that one. He did write it though... hrm.

Anyway :)

I loved watching the movie and going 'Is that Luke Duke?' and 'Is that Don Johnson?' 'Course I felt old recognizing them. I have to say I totally missed Bruce Dern and Lee Horsley though.

Right from the very beginning he put his fingerprint on it when Dr. Shultz shot one of the Speck brothers in the head. I should find out the next time QT is making a movie so I can invest in the fake blood industry!

Probably the only issue I had with the movie was the post-handshake ... I didn't expect that to happen... I thought Dr. Shultz had proven he's one smart cookie given how he'd handled the bag-heads (v. funny scene by the way). Oh well.

The movie is something like 2 hours and 45 mins long and you certainly were not bored through any of it. And I was v. glad I didn't pick QT's scene to run to the restroom ;).

If you see it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Though I will still have to pick TDKR as my fav movie of the year.
