Yesterday a massive tornado rip through a little town called Moore in Oklahoma. This town had no chance against mother nature. It ripped through schools and killed 20 kids and killed a total of 91 in Oklahoma city according to channel 5 news.. This storm was the worst ever this year and took lives of innocent people. This happened 2 years after the big twister ripped through Joplin MO. Two schools got demolished with this storm but some kids in these school went to a churched and survived this massive storm. I was listening to the news after this storm hit and one person took family into a storm cellar and had to dig the family out of the storm cellar cause it was blocked. This is really unbelieveable and unpredictable on how much damage these big storms and tornados can cause. The worst part about this storm is that if people were on vacation then come home to see what happened to their home. I would like to send my thoughts and prayers out to the families in Oklahoma city.

Moore is just south of Tinker and a lot of military folks stationed there live in Moore we are currently hoping to hear from some friends soon

Awful story. We see these kinds of events so often in the news that it's easy to become desensitized, but watching the interviews at length with survivors and trying to imagine being in their shoes is profoundly depressing. Wishing good things for the victims and donating to a relief fund isn't much, but it's all I can do.

Well I heard from my friends, their (currently deploy'd in the USMC) son and his wife lost their house but that's all everyone survived with no injuries.

That's still rough. Hopefully they are well insured.
