Our group dinner will be at 6pm on Saturday October 27, which happens to be Funeratic's anniversary.

I've heard three suggestions for where we could eat. They all sound great to me, so I put the choice to you. Please vote above for whichever one you like the most, or make the case below for your favorite. I'll decide soon.

I hope you can join us!

Lotawata Creek. Need I say more?

Friends in St. Louis have recommended this place highly:

By popular demand, Lotawata Creek it is! Kelly and I will aim to be there around 5:30, for a planned group dinner at 6. Because we're driving several hours to get there, we may run into construction or other delays, so I'll post something here if we're not going to make it on time. Some of you have my number already just in case.

If you're going to join us, please let me know, here or in private, and tell me how many in your party, so I can ask for a table big enough for us all. We'll save you a seat, but we won't wait long to order if you're late. By that token, please don't wait long for Kelly and me if we wind up being late ourselves; go ahead and get a table and order food. (Lotawata does not take reservations.)

I can't wait to see you all!

I'm looking forward to seeing you all!

Party of eight and counting! Anybody else?

Before dinner, Kelly and I will be at the City Museum from approximately 12-5 if anybody would like to join us.

And by 12 to 5, Scott means 2 to 5, since we had car troubles.

It wouldn't be a "GooCon" weekend if my car didn't break in some way. This time, after being driven around Illinois all week, it failed to start as we were departing Kelly's parents' house for good. It took twenty minutes to jump it, but the local mechanic said everything checked out fine, so we crossed our fingers and drove home on it. It's been fine since. Stupid car.
