I don't know about this William Kat guy but William Katt is pretty cool. Mostly joking but I'm sure every actor would like to be 1) known and 2) known by his real name. I thought the concept for that show was pretty cool at the time but Robert Culp drove me nearly insane with his one dimension. Connie Sellecca was a little doll baby (Grrrowl)... but being married to Tesh and formerly to Gil Gerard (of all people) has removed her lustre. I thought Katt was best in House despite Bull's attempt to scuttle that film with his one-dimension. Katt with better co-stars would bring better performances like Carrie.

William Katt is the Greatest American Hero, AND a great American hero. He's also in The Man from Earth, which we'll watch in a few months.

TC has definitely declined from its heyday in 2004, when some discussions saw more than a hundred comments per day, to a point now where several days pass at a time in silence. I miss coming home from work at night and finding my homepage lit up with new discussions to read and interesting ideas to digest. Part of the decline is specific to Funeratic, as prolific contributors drifted away or were pushed away, and I spent so many years hiding from search engines that it's now an uphill battle to get their attention. Another part of the decline is a general trend away from forums like these and more toward social media: People still spend hours a day communicating online; they just do it on Facebook and Twitter now.

I still enjoy TC, and I think you all do too. It's not going anywhere. You get out of it what you put into it: The more discussions you start, the more activity there will be to enjoy. I find it hard sometimes to start a conversation out of the blue, especially since I stopped reading the news to keep my proverbial blood pressure down, but every time I do start talking, I'm glad I did.

Things were doomed to change with certain contributors anyway. A large percentage of people on this site have been part of my friends circle offline, which means they're in my age group, and my age group is getting married and raising kids and getting serious about their careers.

Funeratic has gradually lost members like any site; what it hasn't done is attract new ones to take their place. Reversing course on that is turning out to be about as difficult as spinning a massive cruise ship, but the work continues. If you want to help: Share a link to Funeratic (any page) online and spread the word. The more different places we're mentioned, the better we'll be ranked by search engines. Every bit is appreciated.

Scott I been trying to help with that but I just can't get people to sign up but I will keep trying

Thanks! It's good to bring in people who see the links, but even if nobody signs up from that, a higher number of links out there tells search engines that we're a more valuable website, which will do a lot of good for us in the long run.
