When I was a kid, I asked my father what he'd do if he won the lottery. He said right away that he'd pay off his bills and debt. I was annoyed by the answer at the time, because I thought he was supposed to say things like he'd buy a yacht or buy a mega-mansion or something. But now, as an adult, I understand, because paying off bills and debt is exactly what I'd do if I won the lottery.

What about your parents did you once reject that you now emulate, intentionally or not?
