Hey, so some of you know me, some of you don't. So I suppose I should make introductions. Hi, I'm Kelly.

See, that was easy, right?

Er. I'm 27, Live now in Springfield, IL. Before I was in St. Charles, IL, and Elgin, IL, and Macomb, IL, and Tampa, FL. I went to high school with Scott and Lori and Matthew and whoever else I missed, dated Scott, then went to college, and was friends with Jackie and, well whoever else I missed thats on Goo Game.

I'm dating Scott again. Hi Scott! :-D

Uhm. I'm a teacher's aide for behavior kids at a school/residential facility for kids with severe disabilities. I've done this sorta thing for the last 6 years, and aspire to be a special ed teacher. I've pretty much worked with every aspect of disability, from autism to...uh something that starts with a Z.

A huge part of my life is this game, where..ahh basically we all dress up and hit each other with sticks. It's a medieval "reenactment" game, but thats a lie. I'd say it's a LARP, that that's also a lie. Its kinda like both. Its fun as hell, and to be quite honest, the main drive that I have in it this days is for a social aspect. Nearly all my friends are in it, and it's worldwide. Hell, I host a Croatian group's website on my site.

Today I take office as Duchess for the local group, in fact, which is about 50 some odd people. I should be there now, but I had a horrible migrane (second ever) this morning and I just found out that some of the food won't fit in the oven of the person cooking feast. So I'm here, waiting.

Also feeling kinda good now that I took some drugs for my headache.

Yeah, I got sucked in. Its sorta the redheaded stepchild of the SCA. I'm actually pretty well known interkingdom-wise, where were you living at the time? I bet I can name the park, maybe someone from that park too.

That's hillarious. I miss college. And high school. I mean, I don't miss the actual classes, but all my friends.

Help me please part 2

So I'm thinking a series of news reports, offered in text, BREAKING NEWS concerning the two rum icons, Capt Morgan and the bacardi bat, and how they the two forces are going to meet at Tortuga,... The Captain talks in mutterings like a drunken old man, and complains about how his leg is stuck in that position permanently. And when the Bacardi Bat is interviewed, he just screeches and flaps around. Go »

I hate my job

Today I got kicked in the face, spit on three times, twice it landed in my mouth, plus various kicks, scratches, pinches, attempted bites and more swearing at than I can count. I've been doing this sort of thing, working with behavior kids, for 6 years now. I just can't stand it anymore. Go »

Help me please!

Blech. So, Scott designs websites, using php and whatever the hell, I have no idea, but I'm glad when he helps me cause I don't like all the program-y stuff. I make websites in Dreamweaver, and I make a lot of them. Go »

I'm better now

Outta work, and I went to Cingular and bought a new battery, then went to best buy where my friend who has the same phone as I said he would give me one of his spares... So return the new battery and use old phone, which is better cause it does not have the annoying push to talk feature, which is retarded and gets in the way anyway. Better. Go »

All awards and no sleep make Kelly a dull girl.

Blah. I have been going nonstop for the last few months, and this week it kicks into high gear. I'm really well known in Amtgard as a award maker. Go »

GAH!

So today, instead of going home after work, I decided that being at the park for our weekly Monday night amtgard meetings was a better idea after running some errands. I got there an hour early, before the lights came on in the pavilion, but it was ok, because of the creepy warm weather we've been having. Someone else, who hasn't been there in a long time, decided that he thought that it started at 5:30, was there too. Go »
