This attribute allows the character to commune with the dead. This may take the form of an elaborate séance ritual, or a merely that the character can strike up conversations with ghosts passing by, or any other form appropriate for the game. Players are encouraged to think about what form the ability would take for them, and model it accordingly (with a possible change in point cost with GM approval).
Spirits may or may not perceive other characters in the area once contact is made, and their answers might or might not be heard by other characters. Once reached, spirits may choose not to communicate, as with any person who does not want to engage in conversation. Characters may attempt interrogation tactics to intimidate the spirit into communicating.
Level One: The character can communicate with spirits who are in the close vicinity (about the size of one room) and have already been seen, heard, or otherwise perceived. The Sixth Sense ability to "Sense Spirits" qualifies.
Level Two: The character can communicate with spirits who are in the near vicinity (about the size of a house) and have already been perceived.
Level Three: The character can communicate with spirits who are present, whether or not they have yet been perceived. This typically involves calling out to the spirit until it answers. This requires a successful Soul check.
Level Four: The character can communicate with spirits who are not present, if they are in the presence of the spirit's physical remains. This requires a successful Soul check. The spirit will not appear in the area, but its psychic answers to questions might still be "heard" by other characters nearby.
Level Five: The character can communicate with any spirits even without access to their remains. This requires a successful Soul check. The spirit will not appear in the area.
