Matthew played on July 7 at 10:40am. So your last turn timed out on July 14 at 10:40am, ending the play phase of the concert and moving it into the trade phase.
When you visited the site yesterday, the concert would have been waiting for Matthew to make a choice, not for you.
He didn't choose by 10:40am today, July 21, so it gave up waiting and marked the concert complete. I'm guessing that this also spawned a "completed concert" subscription notice that led to you seeing this today.

Hmmm. I don’t recall seeing this in my list to choose an artist. Although I’ve been on vacation and things are piling up.
