Soak Up the Sun
Theme
Solar Power: The legendary Sun Records, founded by Sam Phillips in Memphis in 1952, saw the birth of rock & roll itself. Phillips made rhythm & blues appealing to white audiences by marrying it with country music in a new genre called rockabilly, and popular music was never the same again. These artists all recorded for Sun.
