Little Miss Sunshine
2006
Convinced their little Olive is beauty queen material, two parents load the rest of the family -- including Olive's silent brother, depressed uncle and wacky grandpa -- into a van and embark on a life-altering road trip to a California pageant.

Scott Hardie: “It ruled.”

The limits of indie quirk are tested in this anti-family film, where bizarre characters who couldn't exist in real life intersect and learn things and hug. It works in spite of itself due to a talented cast across the board, who nail their every scene.
