Samir Mehta: “It was ok.”
Really really enjoyed this movie. I've always wanted to see McCarthy tackle a more emotional role (especially after seeing glimmers of her vulnerable side in Bridesmaids). She delivers. The movie is a bit slight but often excellent. If it had the courage to let her be a little less wacky and more realistic, this could have soared. As it is, it is a good reminder of what a performer she is.

Well. More toward the 'ok' side as I likely won't see this again for a while. However Melissa M delivers it again. And loved Susan as her grandmother.
I was afraid I was too much like her grandmother. But my friends all say Tammy is more like me. They can totally see me licking some buns.
