The Mist
2007
After a brutal thunderstorm pounds a small town, the residents discover a malevolent mist hanging over their homes, killing anyone who remains outside. Now trapped in a grocery store, a band of survivors must make a stand against the deadly fog.

Scott Hardie: “It sucked.”

Frank Darabont strikes out on his fourth King adaptation, a routine horror film that misses ample opportunity for social commentary. Worst is the over-the-top ending that has nothing to do with the original story and punishes you for caring what happens.
