Scott Hardie: “It was ok.”
A crazy, sloppy, unfocused, half-genius, half-mad, totally unmarketable satire of Bush-era foreign policy and Halliburton reconstruction gone awry. Hilary Duff and Marisa Tomei are hilarious. Lots of bad material, but some other jokes are laugh-out-loud funny, and they all fly past in a rush. It doesn't quite pull off its grand satirical ambition, but it has more ideas in it than most comedies.
