I'm sad to hear of the passing of Michael Apted. I haven't seen the Up series yet, but I have seen some of Apted's other films and enjoyed them.

Samir, I know you're a fan of the Up series. I'm sorry to hear of what sounds like it's ending. Was there any sense in making plans to continue the series with another filmmaker, as long as there are enough surviving participants to make it worthwhile?
