In your opinion, is athletic competition good for young children?
I can see how it would help children get used to the idea of competition, and help them develop a goal of striving to succeed - that you have to work to win.
But at the same time, competition can fuel lots of negative feelings - especially if the child perpetually loses.
Your thoughts?
