Fun suggestions! Andre and Spike would probably produce a cinematic mess together, but it would be a fascinating mess.
I'd love to hear two of rock's great guitarists, Carlos Santana and Joe Satriani, record something together, perhaps in their mutual hometown of San Francisco. The former loves collaborating with guests on his band's albums, and the latter loves dabbling in new genres and hasn't tried Latin yet. It wouldn't even have to be an original song; Dick Dale and Stevie Ray Vaughn similarly teamed up for a terrific cover of "PIpeline." I'd pay good money to hear something like that.
