It's a growing trend: Visiting a place because you want to eat the food there. My mother has enjoyed several tours of California wine country, and I can think of several site users who recently enjoyed European vacations and must have appreciated the food. (Well, maybe not in Scotland.) Personally, with the saturation of chain restaurants from coast to coast, I fear I'll wind up eating at friggin' Olive Garden no matter what place I visit.
That aside, what place would you want to visit just to enjoy the food and drink? And could you take a trip just for that reason?
