For the first time since my mom sold our house in St. Charles, I have a place to call home. Today Kelly and I found out that we got that house on Lanier Drive. We don't actually sign the lease until June 15th because they're still finishing up the remodeling, but it's definitely ours. Rock! I can't wait to move in. I've been moving from dorms to apartments to rented houses for a few too many years now. This place, while still rented, feels more like home because we'll be there indefinitely. The lease doesn't expire until we say we want to move out (though we have to be there for at least one year). This feels great. I'll send out that official new-address-and-phone-number email when details are finalized.
