Damn it Lori, you beat me to it. :-) I saw this on the news this week and bookmarked it for a TC discussion when I had time to write something. I have no love for the Smurfs, but I know a smart PSA when I see one. People just plain don't give a damn when they see child soldiers holding assault rifles, especially in our gun-lovin' culture, so UNICEF must have thought long and hard about how to make the message stick. They did a good job.
