Thanks! I had planned to create the "Watergate" goo a few years ago before his identity was revealed, but after the revelation it didn't seem like it would be as fun. Recently, I came up with the "tank" goo, which was going to be part of the spring season's bonus goos before I realized its potential for a theme if paired with my old idea from years ago. Many theme ideas start out that way, as a pair of two goos looking for company, but few of the ideas can be stretched out to five goos. Still, a set of five is a lot easier to create than a set of seven.
I was reluctant to schedule a theme about "Girls" right after a theme about "Men" and risk a hint of sexism, but the theme names are just common expressions suited to the topic. I doubt anybody's analyzing them that much, and probably nobody would have even noticed if I hadn't said anything.
