Blair Witch Project was overrated too. I applaud the producers for finding a way to make their movies despite having tiny budgets, but if I don't sit through crappy movies made for $200 million, I'm not going to sit through crappy movies made for $20,000.
Robert Rodriguez made El Mariachi for $5000 and it's pretty damn good. Real talent seems to be the difference.
