Is it better for a political leader to be feared instead of loved? Why or why not?

Scott Hardie | August 12, 2004
Depends entirely on the age in which he serves and the feats he needs to accomplish. It also depends on the person; some people just can't be likeable but they still need to be effective leaders. I guess that's a vague answer. Somebody else say something.
