My new pet peeve: Spoiler-free walkthroughs (such as here and here) that don't help. It's possible to write a walkthrough that gives vital information to stumped players without spoiling any plot surprises for them. If I'm looking for the answer online because they're an obscruction in my path, vague instructions like "continue north" don't really fucking help.
