Minor observation: The instruction manual for "Silent Hill 2" shows the five main characters in the game with a photo and brief description, which includes Age and Occupation. The problem is, Age is "unknown" for every character, and Occupation is "unknown" for every character except James, whose stated occupation is "protagonist." Do companies not bother thinking about instruction manuals because most players don't bother reading them?

I don't know, but there's nothing I hate more than an unhelpful instruction manual. Better to just not include it.
