Sounds like your drive to Cades Cove was more enjoyable than the one I had. Four hours to go around the loop in the beating July sun. By the time we got to where there was anything to see, we just wanted to leave. Beautiful country though. Being here in Illinois, I miss the mountains. Glad you had a good time. By the way, if you haven't done so yet, and plan on going back, check out the Ripley's Aquarium there in Gatlinburg. It's amazing.
