It's been a busy week, so please forgive me for posting this a day after Halloween. (November 1: Best day to buy candy on sale.)

Lori asks:

Almost everyone has gone trick or treating at some point in their lives. Does any costume stand out in your memory in a good/positive way, or even a bad way? Example: Toliet paper mummy unraveling ^_^;;; (some teacher mentioned it once)

Whats the most involve costume you've put together? Example: My husband's father made pac-man costumes for Ray and his sister one year

People who have played role-playing games know I tend to get into the character way more than the rules and game mechanics. When I was a kid, I decided to dress as a ninja, but I thought I should play the part too. Ninja are sneaky, so I decided to sneak around and hide behind trees and not go up to every door that we visited. My friends mocked me for it. I have no regrets.

This year, we won the costume contest at work as Robin Hood and Maid Marian, with our friend Bill as a merry man. I didn't do a damn thing to make the costumes; Kelly made ours and Bill made his with help from other friends. If anybody doubts that Amtgard has tangible real-life benefits, I have a $700 prize to prove it.

Sewing skillz rule... only chain mail skillz and $700 prizes can kick their ass.

Eh, pirate hookers are so 2006.

Thanks for the kind words, on behalf of Kelly.
