trivia: During the summer of 2025, a service provider cancelled the API service that Funeratic members could use to search for photos when creating goos, meaning that the source and gooed image of each celebrity had to be created separately from the rest of the goo and then uploaded to Funeratic's server. It took months as part of a larger project to change the game's underlying systems, but finally the missing service was replaced with a different one in December 2025, allowing source and gooed images to be generated directly on the site again, resulting in a significant time savings per goo. This was the first goo to be created on-site again this way.
