At the semi-annual GooCon event, players compete in Celebrity Goo Game Live, an offline adaptation of the game in which fake money is used to keep track of scores.
GooCon: Siesta Key (2008)
Players competed in four rounds, with a winner decided by the sum of all scores. Aaron Shurtleff took an early lead, but his departure before the fourth round allowed Steve West to pass him for the win. Guest Ines Sarante became the first person to play Celebrity Goo Game without joining Funeratic. Note: In 2008 and 2009, dollar values per goo were half of their later amounts.

GooCon: Citrus Ridge (2009)
Players competed in four rounds, with a winner decided by the sum of all scores. Aaron Shurtleff's early lead proved too difficult to surpass by the end, making him the winner. Note: In 2008 and 2009, dollar values per goo were half of their later amounts.

GooCon: Champions Gate (2010)
Matthew Preston offered to run a round himself, giving Scott Hardie a chance to play the middle of three rounds, in which Scott triumphed. Matthew dominated the other two rounds. Despite dollar values per goo being doubled from previous years, players generally wound up with lower scores due to risky bets that didn't pay off.
GooCon: Villa Ridge (2011)
This year saw two longtime players triumph: After 13 years playing online and 4 years playing live, Kelly Lee claimed victory when her bold bets on final goos paid off big. In the middle round, several guests from the St. Louis area joined the play, but Erik Bates was determined to win after nearly a decade playing online, and took home the trophy. Carol Wilhelm, wife of Russ and mother of Joanna, became the second person to play Celebrity Goo Game without a Funeratic account. (Rounds were played out of order. The numbering below reflects the order in which they were played.)
