Annie Hall
1977
Winner of four Oscars -- including Best Picture and Best Actress -- director Woody Allen's iconic romantic comedy charts the relationship between neurotic writer Alvy Singer and quirky aspiring singer Annie Hall.

Scott Hardie: “It ruled.”

Woody Allen never topped this film and never will. It's not just a hilarious comedy in a sea of mediocre relationship movies; it captures the unique regret of a broken-up couple who knows they can never love like that again — so personal, so strong.

Erik Bates: “It ruled.”

I can't help but wonder if this had been my first introduction to Woody Allen movies instead of Midnight in Paris, would I be a bigger fan of his work? I loved this movie. How on earth have I gone so long without seeing a movie that so many people say is one of his best?
