Jon Berry: “It was ok.”

More like Captain AmeriCANT. Yep, that's all I got. Starts great, but it's full of wasted potential, some major characters with terrible development, and overall not a fantastic piece of cinema. But not awful.

Scott Hardie: “It was ok.”

The problem is right there in the subtitle. This feels like a 2-hour commercial for The Avengers, existing primarily to justify Cap's starring role in the later film. It has no third act, because it's all setup for later. The action is fun I guess, and I appreciated the small but important doses of humor, but this is a forgettable B-movie pretending to be a headliner.
