Scott Hardie: “It ruled.”

Lean, intense, and gripping from the opening scene onwards, this movie demonstrates a mastery of style and mood, proving how well they can elevate a standard genre plot to make great entertainment. The casting and the retro 1980s aesthetic were inspired.

Ryan Dunn: “It ruled.”

The 1st 15 minutes of this film make it worth watching. Ryan Gosling delivers another rock solid performance, as does Albert Brooks(who was robbed by the Oscars -- didn't even get nominated).

Extremely violent at times, so not for everyone.

Evie Totty: “It ruled.”

I'm sure by now you can see a pattern. I love violent movies. I don't know why, I just do. And I like *smart* violent movies even more.

This one did not disappoint. It might not have ended the way I wanted it to, but I wasn't upset about it either. I'm glad I was able to watch it.
