Steve West: “It ruled.”

Dreamworks has produced an animated stunner, visually at least. Why do animated characters require greatness to be considered interesting? Do kids need that to maintain interest? I don't, but it was extremely watchable nonetheless. IMAX 3-D rules!

Steve West: Simple characters that do great things is an interesting storyline but it seems almost every animated film follows that track. I want more Fievel-like stories, I guess - not necessarily great, world-saving heroics. And the film features yet another single parent household. − April 10, 2010 • more by Steve
