I believe this was an excellent adaptation of the book to the big screen. Burton was definitely the best choice for this film.

Scott Hardie: I haven't read the book (or seen the movie for that matter), so I can't judge entirely, but this very much looks like how Tim Burton would adapt the X-Men to film. His style has become more than predictable by now, but it still has its moments. − December 30, 2016 • more by Scott
