The Devil All the Time

OK, if you're in a bad place emotionally, put this on the back burner for a while (I make the same recommendation for playing "The Last of Us" series of video games on Playstation). It is extremely and disturbingly violent and many of the characters have sad and unfortunate endings.

That being said though, each character has an ending. Some controversy of the 2007 Coen Brothers film, "No Country for Old Men" was that the essential climax was brushed over. All of a sudden the main character is dead and the audience doesn't get closure. Although an incredibly painful movie at times to watch, I had closure for all of the characters.

If you watch and/or enjoy this film for only one thing, let it be Tom Holland's acting. I cannot give him enough praise for the amazing job he does in this role. Oscar worthy in my opinion, but I don't watch nearly the same number of movies as I once did.This review contains spoilers. Reveal it.
