Matthew Preston: “It was ok.”
I have no doubts on the amazing acting ability of Millie Bobby Brown, but this movie just didn't work for me. The constant breaking of the 4th wall pulled me away from some moments that would have been otherwise decent. Some could have been served with internal narrative much like "I'm Thinking of Ending Things" did.

Evie Totty: “It ruled.”
I didn't really have high hopes for this movie, but after watching it - I found out that I loved it and hope they make more from the series.
I was utterly thrilled that they made her a fully-developed character. I wish I had more to say about it, but don't want to get flagged by spoilers.
Not for young children due to some violent scenes (I had to advise many moms of this)
