Evie Totty: “It was ok.”

Don't get me wrong - I loved the film. But I MUST keep with my own rating system that demands that an 'it ruled' is one I want to see repeatedly.

I remember when The Intouchables came out in 2017 - it was all the rage. I have yet to see it but it was talked about so much that I'd remembered it when this movie was released.

I know Cranston took a lot of flak for taking this role from other disabled (sorry - don't know the pc word for this right now) actors, and Hart was in the middle of the Oscars thing at the time. I have a friend who is kind of in the industry and gay and he does not like Hart at all because of the tweets that were at the center of the controversy.

Regardless - both men did an extraordinary job (in my opinion) and the film was thoroughly enjoyable, uplifting and inspirational. If you have not seen it - it REALLY is a must-see film.
