Evie Totty: “It was ok.”

Again, it was great but no desire to see it again. I saw all of those men that were with Louis as the same kind of hero. They were all tortured too. And they made it through. I am amazed at what I saw though. Also interesting note. There was a scene that caught me off guard and I actually spilled like a quarter of my tub of popcorn.

Ha. Cinematography was great. Acting top notch. I can't believe this movie was snubbed for the Globes. Oscar bait.

Scott Hardie: Yeah, its timing and marketing scream Oscar bait. I doubt that it has very good chances with the Academy, since its director is not much respected as a director (not yet anyway), and because it peaked too early in the season. But who knows. And anyway, it's more important that it's a good movie, which it sounds from your review like it is. I look forward to seeing this myself. − January 1, 2015 • more by Scott
