Hey fellow funeratics... haven't been on this site in ages, and decided to solve a goo cuz Scott Hardie has been my most consistent spammer for like 14 years :).

Scott! It's great to hear from you! It has indeed been a long time, eight years as far as I can tell. Welcome back!

I have long considered disabling those old subscription emails after someone has been gone for years, but I always wondered if they might someday lead to someone returning. Apparently it has eventually paid off. :-)

The last year and a half have been quite difficult for me, as they have for so many people, but I'm getting by one day at a time. Work and personal commitments keep me busy, but I try to keep this site going. It's quieter than it used to be but it still means a lot to me.

I've actually been doing pretty well.. Over the last 18 months, I really worked on getting my health in order. I had dropped 40 lbs at 1 point, but put some back on during the summer,s so need to get back on it. WW and Peloton!! Work has been going pretty well. I currently am a "Senior Software Specialist" at a Maritime Insurance Company.. I was brought on to build a new core insurance system replacing an 18 year old legacy system. My wife and I got a puppy in February.. a tiny 35ish pound Bernedoodle named Bernie, who monopolizes my life. Trying to spend as much time as possible outside while the weather is still nice up here in NJ
