We're off! This is our second "themed round" and will probably not be our last. Some of the goos will be obscure foreigners, but for the most part, I've tried to choose celebrities who are well-known in America. Some have even settled and made careers here after being raised abroad. Don't be intimidated by their nationality. ...Then again, I'm not the one who has to guess them, and history has proven that I have no idea how difficult my goos are or aren't, so don't take my word for it. :-)

The first 50 goos belong to an ordered tour. Goos 51+ will not follow any particular order, since I don't know how many there will be.

I'm really digging this round. It's been a lot of fun coming up with diverse goos, and the decorative headers too. We should do this kind of thing more often.

Ryan Dunn | May 3, 2010
I'm enjoying it too, as always! Knowing the nationality of the goo is a huge clue...though I've still missed 2! Interesting to see a couple of "early" tower kills...preemptive strategery, or delaying the inevitable???

Sorry to take so long in responding to how much I'm enjoying the world tour. The banners are pretty cool.

Congrats, Ryan! That was another surprise finish, like last round. It has to feel good. :-)

There was one last unpublished goo from the world tour, that I didn't want to leave for later. I have published it as a bonus goo just for fun. (Ryan, you can send me a private message with your guess, since your towers are full.)

Talk about the future of the towers system is still ongoing, and I appreciate feedback, positive and negative. I'll share my own comments soon. I think the towers system will last one or possibly two more rounds before being replaced with something else.

Nice job Ryan it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.....Congrats

Steve West | June 1, 2010
Congratulations and good job (burp)!

Amy Austin | June 1, 2010
What Steve said. ;-p

Steve Dunn | June 2, 2010
Congratulations Ryan. I'm a little disturbed how quickly you seem to have bested me at the goo game (and if I am being honest, probably Rock Block too) but I obviously am glad to see you win this round.

No more Mr. Nice Guy, though. I can't have you get a second win before I pick up my third. I suppose we could all team up and help Justin Woods, but I confess I'm intrigued by this "greatest player without a win" concept and I think it might be fun to see how long that can last.

Justin Woods | June 2, 2010
"Mr. Nice Guy" huh... You mean wiping Joanna's tower and then giving Ryan only an extension wasn't being a nice guy?

I look forward to not being allowed to win in the next few rounds with this format :-)

Steve Dunn | June 2, 2010
I don't know who wiped Joanna's tower and obviously you don't, either.

Justin Woods | June 2, 2010
There is a award that she used sometime ago that allows her to see what other players have left as far rewards go and she told me that you completed a tower giving two rewards left, then she got her tower wiped and you only had one remaining again, and no one used any of their rewards during that time. so if I am wrong sorry but that was her way of keeping track of everyone. she even made a spreadsheet of everyone's moves and guesses, she has been trying to come up with a strategy I guess but she could be wrong too but she did put a lot of time into trying to win this round...

Steve Dunn | June 2, 2010
You got the wrong guy.

I took down two towers this round, both invisible, one yours, neither Joanna's. At no point during this round did I have two rewards. Maybe Ryan took down her tower and you've got the wrong Dunn - I really don't know.

While we're on the subject of intrigue, though, I'm curious who took down Richard Slominsky's final tower today. (Also not me, by the way).

I'm still making up my mind about a lot of things for next round, but one thing I'm almost certain of: Tower wipeouts will no longer be anonymous. It's backfiring, leading to more vendettas rather than less.

More themed rounds in the future? A tour of the US states seems like the obvious next step, but I'm open to suggestions of other themes that will allow sufficient variety of goos and keep our interest for two months.
