Yesterday was not what I wanted to hear. :( Our bowling alley has finally closed completely and probably will not be another. But I guess there goes a sport that I will always like right out of Granite City. So it looks like i'm gonna have to find another alley to go bowl at this Winter with my mom. Maybe later down the line they will build another alley but not for a while. I certainly will be going some where else to get practice. I know people out there don't take the sport serious but I usually do when i'm in league....The question is bowling out for good I doubt it. My coaching days are done for awhile until I can find a house that will let me coach the kids.

Sorry to hear it, Chris. I know how much you really enjoy bowling and coaching. Maybe another alley will open on that site in the future, especially if the economy improves.

Thanks Scott and Erik but they just weren't making the business there but i'm hoping that they will open one down the line in the future. I just want to go back to what I do best help the kids improve on their game :)

Based on its proximity to the house and general convenience, I think bowling will probably be our "field trip" at GooCon, so you have that to look forward to at least. :-)
