As previously announced, it's time to rock again: Rock Block has returned!

Here's starting a new discussion to keep launch-day activity gathered in one place. I'll be online all day today so that I can quickly answer questions and fix problems. Please post them here so that it's gathered in one place. Thanks!

A note about joining the game: The page will default to your previous color from Classic Rock Block if you had one, so leave the color picker alone if you want to keep your classic color.

Starting tomorrow, you're welcome to vote for them to be promoted. A new poll will appear on the sidebar daily. Everyone's choices will be different, based on what artists they have discovered.

The process of joining the game is not complete until you have chosen all five artists. If you leave that page before you finish, just go back to "Join This Game" to pick up where you left off.

It's been a great day. I fixed a couple of minor arrangement issues on the page, and Aaron's problem with the challenge-accept form apparently fixed itself, and that was the sum total of issues that came up. This has been the kind of smooth launch that I hoped for. Thanks for playing today! I look forward to many more concerts to come.

..um...my problem with the challenge accept form is still intermittent, unfortunately. My problem with being bad at Rock Block is also strong. ;)

Is it only on your phone? The first problem I mean. :-)

Also: What happens when the form isn't there? You see the page with the challenge on it, it says "Aaron you have been challenged" and how much time you have to accept, and that's it? Is the site footer on the bottom of the page below that, or does it stop cold at "Aaron you have been challenged"?

I made the script send me some debugging data when you load that form. It's going to take time to get to the bottom of this, but we'll fix it. Thanks for the help.

O pretty see everything but the checklist for the bands, so I can't select them. I get everything above and below. I get the accept button, but if you don't select bands, you don't go far. And yes just on the phone.

Sometimes, i see it there, but it contracts/disappears, and I can't see it after it loads for a bit. Hope that helps.

Hopefully, the RB equivalent of Protect will come from losing some number of matches, because lordy, I will need it!!!

Hmmm... Collection guide differentiates between artists known and collected, plus we have indications that the game keeps track of which artists we have won matches with. The completionist is looking forward to a long happy quest!

I assume there are rules not listed on the sidebar? Or would more conditions open up as you clear them out?

The "Achievements" sidebar is capped at ten items. For the full list, go to your label and click on the Rules tab at the top.
