Haha, great point Melissa.
I'm very much in favor of the single-term president. I think the six-year term proposed by the movement is because the first two years of most presidencies are a sort of training phase that the man needs to get a handle on his administration and the country. Say what you want about Clinton's second term, he knew what he was doing the entire time, instead of struggling to find his strengths like his first two years in office. I don't really care whether the president serves four years or six (why not an even five?), but I would like sitting presidents to stop spending so much time and energy trying to get reelected, so here's calling for a single-term presidency.

Two every ten years, twenty every century.

It has been proposed that American presidents be elected for one six-year term and not be eligible for reelection.
I think six years is a bit long. But at the same time, I don't like that Presidents spend so much time trying to get reelected. What do you guys think?
