It took a very long time, but the old Archive pages across this site have been fixed, renamed, and expanded:

Search Goos
Search Reviews
Search Discussions
Search Blogs
Search Concerts
Search Game Sessions
overall site search

They all shared the same core search code that no longer worked, so each one had to be completely rebuilt. On top of that, they were broken because the site was incapable of crunching that much data in a single page request, so for a few data-intensive searches, I had to cache some of the data invisibly in the background. That process is still running as I write this, and will continue for the next few days, so please bear with it until the caching is complete. (To be specific: It caches which goos are in which categories, which TC discussions took place in which years, which TC discussions were joined by which authors, and which game sessions were played by which characters. Those results will be incomplete for the next few days, but all other searches not related to those fields will work fine.)

It pained me to know that something on my site was broken and I couldn't fix it. When I had a lot more time in years past, I prided myself on running a flawless site, fixing any error as soon as I discovered it. But times have changed, and now I have to wait for a whole weekend to come along that I can spend on this, which is rare. Many users have asked about the broken pages, and I'm grateful to all of them for their patience and understanding.

Don't *at all* want to seem to be making any kind of statement with my enthusiasm, but YAY!!! Glad these are fixed -- thanks, Scott... for all you do. ;-)
