Why, on television shows and in movies, when someone hangs up on someone else, does the person who is hung up on get a dial tone immediately? That never happens in real life. Hell, I've been hung up on and I don't realize it until I get an operator message 2 minutes later. Just one of my pet peeves.... and yes, believe it or not, I get hung up on a lot. :-)
