See, I know I'm in an incredibly tiny minority here, but I like one and three while I find two boring. Vito's becoming-of-a-mobster story in two felt like a redundant retread of the first movie, and Michael is the same at the end as at the beginning so it felt like none of it mattered. Part three, I can understand why fans didn't like seeing Michael weak, but he had an interesting arc, the inverse of the first film, and I found his journey really interesting.
Yeah, Sofia's acting was annoying, but eh, whatever. I heard she was only a last-minute replacement because Winona Ryder dropped out and it was too late to re-cast.
