What's your take on LinkedIn? Legitimate tool that has potential for real-life benefit, or another time-wasting social-networking fad?
Asking me to create an account so that we can acknowledge that we know each other is one thing, but asking me to take time out of my busy schedule to write a recommendation for you is a tall order, considering that it seems to me like it will never achieve any actual real-life application. Don't get me wrong, I'm fond of every person who has so far asked me for a hook-up, but I have scarce time for my online adventures and most of it goes to goo.tc, so is it worth the time for me to use this tool to its fullest?
