Samir Mehta: “It was ok.”
I'm a sucker for this style of comedy and this was surprisingly engaging. Miguel Arteta has a real knack of making slight stories and slight characters engaging enough to work with. Salma Hayek is a fantastic comic villainess and Rose Byrne continues her streak of excellent comic roles. But most of all, Tiffany Haddish proves yet again that she should be a breakout comic star.
