Freakonomics
2010
Several documentary directors each film a segment representing one chapter of Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner's best-seller Freakonomics.

Scott Hardie: “It was ok.”

I haven't read the now-famous book, so I'll have to take other critics' word for it that the movie is shallower and less satisfying. I found it to be fun and perky in parts, important and striking in others, in more or less the right quantities. These are intriguing ideas, presented with flair, and that's all I was hoping for.
