Gigante
2009
Shy supermarket security guard Jara becomes transfixed by Julia, a cleaning woman he spots through a surveillance camera. Soon, he designs his life around her schedule, following her to the movies, the beach -- even on dates with another man.

Scott Hardie: “It was ok.”

Boy likes girl. Boy follows girl. Girl almost sees boy. Boy continues following girl. It goes on like this for 90 minutes in this near-wordless film about modern alienation, which observes a few small quirks of human behavior and a lot of mundanity.
