Have a Good Trip: Adventures in Psychedelics
Scott Hardie: “It ruled.”
This movie does have some serious talk about the possible therapeutic benefits of psychedelic drugs and what a shame it was that early research on the subject was quashed just as it was showing potential. But mostly this is a casual anecdotal comedy, with celebrities telling amusing stories about tripping balls, each tale cleverly animated. As sad as it is to be reminded of certain celebrities' sad recent passings (Carrie Fisher, Anthony Bourdain, and Fred Willard all appear, and Jerry Stiller is impersonated), it's still a pretty funny movie and a more than pleasant experience.

Erik Bates: “It was ok.”
I appreciated the stories and some of the humor, but was otherwise left mostly unimpressed and a bit bored. I've never been a big fan of "drug" humor, so maybe my perception is skewed.

Matthew Preston: “It ruled.”
The candidness from celebrities on their personal use of psychedelics makes this a worth while watch. The reenactments in the after school special format add a sense of humor to what was a serious topic from my youth. Anyone who grew up in the "Just say no" era will really appreciate a different view on things. It takes things seriously, but with a decent dose of laughter.
